I'ma tell you right now if you are a farmer, tradesman, small town hauler. A Kei truck will save you a shitton of money. Just a bit of TLC and they'll run forever.

Of course you could get a Kei truck from Europe - it will then be left hand drive instead of right hand. It's a pity I can't put links in the comments because I just found a 4 cylinder 1200cc diesel Daihatsu HiJet with a tipping bed (!) for $3200 on a car website.

Lowes will honor the warranty for any Craftsman Tool as long as they have the tool in stock. I've heard that if they don't have it in stock they will even swap it with one of their Kobalt tools but I've never experienced that myself so take it with a grain of salt.

I bought one of these when these first hit the market. I did, however, pay $140 for it at that time and have only used it a handful of times. It's definitely a useful tool to have WHEN you need it.

@dirtlifestyle you might want any to consider bolting those work benches and drawers down. We do live in an earthquake zone. I’d hate for those things to roll off the loft and land on somebody.

I know nothing about air compressor systems but having something electrical switching on and off within close proximity to an abundance of aerosol spray paint cans seems to potentially be a fire hazard. But like I said, I don't know how they work.🤔. I wish my small shop was that organized. Great job!

Do you have plans to put plasterboards on the walls in the grinding room? You have a lot of wood showing that likes to burn if you are unlucky. Here in Sweden you have to have 3 layers of plasterboard to meet the required regulations for a grinding/welding room. Then I noticed one thing, is you roof isolated from the outside? If not you loose lot of heat in such a big space. 💸 More fun to put the money on projects than heating for the crows. 😊 Probably you have plans for this but that was what I noticed. Otherwise you have the dream garage man, keep it going!

Not scrutinizing your shop, because I think is one of the best, if not the best shop I've seen, but since you asked for opinions, here is mine: 1. The "Amazon" lift: There's a company or companies (American-made) that are making lifts for several of the UA-camrs I follow (MORR, Fab Rats, Peck Brothers, etc.). You should've inquired about it with them, to get their opinion and a little guidance. A lift is a serious piece of machinery in a shop and I would want a reputable one. 2. Tool boxes: I didn't think it was fair to compare a used and worn down tool box with a brand new one; of course the brand new one is going to operate nice and smoothly. You should revisit this video in five years and compare the Milwaukee's today with Harbor Freight's then. 3. Spray paint cans storage: This was a great idea as it saves space and gets you some type of organization, but for somebody that has time, or can do this project one or two rows at a time, it doesn't have to be really expensive at all. I understand that PVC is really expensive to buy, but if you stay on the lookout for construction sites, they'll give you the left over material; after all, they're just gonna throw it away. That way you get most of the materials cost down for this project. Other than that, I think your shop is already outstanding and with all the future plans and additions that you mentioned it's only gonna get better!!!

You gotta run the thicker 035 and add some tension to the drive roller. Those issues go away. 030 can still work well if you add enough drive roller tension. Give it a try.

One of the main reasons these are popular here in Japan 🇯🇵 no need for a parking permit and the trip to the police station to apply for one and await an inspector to come and verify your application. Pain the ass but yeah K cars don’t need one. There not designed for highways no matter what the manufacturer says 😂 we literally have warnings on expressway showing wind blowing K cars over 😂 but for tiny roads and around the country side they are just awesome. Just don’t go around a corner like your a race car driver.

What is the train of thought when it comes to floor space and build space? How does job storage look? (The longer term jobs)

We Filipinos import these Kei Minis, cutup aready, as parts (importing it as whole vehicle the govt will tax you so much), it then gets converted from RH drive to LH drive, and into all kinds of transportation needs from 12 passenger Jeepneys to micro vans to PIckup trucks, 250,000 to 300,000 Pesos,around $6000USd

When you tried with the sharp angle did you try bumping up the wire feed speed or adjusting the feed rollers? It might help.

That's pretty cool there has been so many times I was trying to do a quick fix on something in the driveway and couldn't reach my gun in a spot with out taking a bunch of stuff I don't have time to take off I will definitely get one may not use it a lot but will save me a lot of hassle when I need to fix something that's hard to get too and trying to get to work thank you for the video!!!!

ignore the word my but a good workbench that is slick to work with does need easy clamp and magnet ability I found that making sure the work surface is all level and includes the chop saw recessed a metal welding table with grounds always attached mig and plasma ready with a shop vac line you can hook into along the bench along with led lights with easy off on switches outlets all along the bench with angles coming off the back of the bench toward the front not so you hit you head but weld nut lock washers for holding plying cutters drivers so you glance up and grab what is needed hit the switch and brightly light the workbench area AND BUILD THE BENCH TO SUIT YOUR HEIGHT WITH STOOLS THAT SEAT YOU AT THE PERFECT WORK POSITION underneath the wood part of the bench grinders drill hand tool you use a lot all plugged in ready to use the bench is always set up ready to use no matter the project or repair

J10 bed to at least keep some of the characteristics. Already lost some of it being a 24v and not a 12v and no old school leaf springs and a automatic

I've been wanting one of them. It seems like a tool that would get used a couple times a year, but would be fantastic for those times. I've done plenty of exhaust repairs where that would make it so much easier. Thank for the review
